Softer alternative with a different feel
Don't be fooled into thinking that Prada Tendre is just a lighter version of the original. They are completely different compositions.

While Prada is rather heavy and oriental, Prada Tendre is mostly soft woods and lively citrus resting on an element of fragile femininity.

I like that this fragrance is smooth and easy to wear. It is unique without being too strange and 'in-your-face'. Gentle is a word that comes to mind when describing Prada Tendre.

Prada Tendre starts off quite green and fresh, with the citrus signalling that Summertime is around the corner. Soft and sweet jasmine rounds the scent out nicely in the heart, where the vetiver and tea notes add variety and prevent this fragrance from smelling too predictable and common.

The amber, which makes the original so popular, has obviously not been disregarded in this fragrance, however although it is still a dominant note in the drydown, it is not as strong. The patchouli however does give Prada Tendre that earthy feel that the original Prada succeeded in so well.

I can't say that this is the best fragrance in regards to lasting strength, but honestly I'm not too fussed so I see no point in going on about it.

Overall, Prada Tendre is a pleasantly sweet and feminine fragrance, which for some will be a Spring/Summer alternative when the original Prada proves too heavy for the warmer months.

Where do I know this one from?
Prada Tendre does its name justice. It is soft and warm from the beginning. Very harmonious scent which lingers quite long, even after washing my hands it is still there. But after about 2 hours I can not get rid of a certain memory. I know this scent from somewhere…. It’s not directly Angel, more Lancaster (the bath series). The amber-vanilla-very soft musky background is softer, not quite as strong as in the Lancaster but very similar. And I like it. What could you say against Prada? Exactly….

My Go-To Fragrance No. 1
The Prada Tendre is my absolute favorite among all Prada fragrances, but unfortunately, it is only available in Germany as leftover stock from a few perfumeries online. The scent starts off very citrusy, somewhat green, cool, and fresh, but quickly transitions into a slightly spicy, warm note. The jasmine remains calm. The base is powdery sweet, but not overly sugary; it is subtly enhanced by the benzoin resin that emits a vanilla, honey-like scent and warm sandalwood. Cocoa doesn’t seem to be present, though I perceive it very subtly. Tea leaf, vetiver, and cedar give it a green character, which is rounded out by the warm notes.
It’s actually difficult to describe, but all in all, it results in a bitter, warm, subtle, powdery fragrance that I have never smelled before. It smells expensive, elegant, and is not overpowering, even though it is very intense. With this fragrance, I feel secure and comfortable at events in a "more refined environment," and I have made no mistakes in my choice of perfume. An extraordinary, elegant scent with an aphrodisiac effect on the gentleman in a suit, it is a true "Prada masterpiece," as we have come to expect from Prada!

Sophisticated without (CM-)Exclamation Mark
Prada Tendre's top note is hardly tendre (French for soft), as it bursts with elegantly sparkling citrus notes. This first impression of the fragrance reminds one of the initial spray of colognes and thus has a slightly masculine touch, and perhaps for some, a slightly conservative vibe - greetings from 1811.
After about two minutes, the citrus notes almost completely fade away, allowing the tea leaves to become noticeable, which, together with jasmine, etc., smells complex yet somehow simple, fresh, light, and transparently herb-spicy. Over time, the fragrance gains a bit of sweetness and thus also a sprightly femininity, which becomes increasingly powdery in the dry down until one is gently enveloped by a soft-fresh-woody aura, in which the patchouli can also be quite well recognized.
(On my skin, I do not perceive the strong sweetness and heaviness described by others, nor the cocoa note.)

Prada Tendre is one of my absolute favorite scents. It has surprising similarities in the base to Coco Mademoiselle, which is not negative for me at all, as Coco Mademoiselle has been something of my signature scent for years.
Prada Tendre is a more robust and lighter fragrance that still has a more pronounced tomboy edge already known from CM. This makes it overall less playful and more mature, giving it the best chance to replace the young Coco for me.
While the young CM winks and calls: "Look at me...", her big sister Prada Tendre is more serious and subtle in her art of seduction. The word "sophisticated" hits the nail on the head, in my opinion.
Ultimately, Coco becomes a scent for special occasions, going out, and particularly colder temperatures for me. Prada Tendre, on the other hand, will be my daily, fresh-powdery companion - one that simply always fits! Those who prefer it less discreet and like it to sparkle and shine should generally reach for the more radiant Coco Mademoiselle in my opinion.

Prada Tendre smells to me like the perfect fragrance for young, modern women in everyday life. One will not find overly sweet, rosy femininity here, but only subtly floral-spicy freshness. Usually, the most beautiful and beloved scents are the hardest to describe, and I seem to lack the right words for the impression that Prada Tendre conveys to me, so I wholeheartedly recommend testing it.

Just a little note: Prada Tendre is particularly inexpensive online (e.g., the beautiful large refillable bottle with the lovely dark red vaporizer starting at 55 euros) and is therefore, especially considering that Prada always uses very high-quality ingredients, a true bargain!

A Scent with Class
Finally, I have Prada Tendre in my collection. It is no longer available everywhere and is hard to find.

The top note starts off herbaceous-citrusy, which could last a bit longer; a moment later it becomes floral-spicy, although I don't really pick up on the jasmine. It becomes milder, powdery, and softer, developing into an elegant, understated scent. Hats off to such mastery. I told you, it's Prada.

The base is similar, but only the base, as with Coco Mademoiselle, I must admit, I just find Coco M. a bit fresher and more unique. Patchouli and sandalwood let this scent fade out without sweetness, by no means too strong or too woody. Rather subtle, yet present.

Prada Tendre is for me a spring-summer scent; in winter it would be too light for me. The classic Prada is better suited then.

Regarding longevity, I would wish for a longer wear time, but since this scent is meant to be more understated, it could also be that I no longer perceive it myself, while others do. It is wearable every day and suitable for all age groups.

Definitely a scent worth trying and not an ordinary one!

Coco Mademoiselle isn't that different.
Not as sweet anymore, more mature, thus more serious.
Unfortunately, it's fleeting with poor sillage.

Citrusy fresh, straightforward, clear, then fresh sweetness, feminine, elegant, classic; yet lively. A pastel scent... Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ

Love at third sight: first citrusy cool, then spicy, and finally delicate - a scent for days when you need nothing loud.
