Noble leather fragrance
In the following I would like to look at the parallels and differences of Al Asel (AA) and Tom Ford Tuscan Leather (TL).
In the top note TL is far ahead, because here it is softer, more rounded. Much more tuned and noble. AA smells, on the other hand, in direct comparison something bitey and actually not good at all.
Drydown:
AA and TL smell very, very similar in the drydown. Very very good!
AA wins but at full length in terms of durability. TL one smells after only a few hours only fleeting on the skin. The AA, however, still joins a spicy note.
I think if you look at the prices it is worth it rather to reach for the AA. And this says someone who is a huge fan of TL. The top note I find very nice - counts for me but not as much as the drydown. As soon as my Flacon TL is empty, I probably reach for Ghawali.
