the opening of this perfume was initially off-putting; the caramel felt intensely syrupy and overpowering. after letting it sit for an hour i was pleasantly surprised by the powderiness of the musk and the warmth of the coumarin which gives it a very nostalgic feel. it isn’t overly sweet or bakery-like as i’d expected from other reviews. instead, it has a cozy and sophisticated quality — a balanced gourmand with subtle sweetness and warmth
