Simple sugar
Bianco Latte has whipped up one of those Internet-based hype storms that never last but still manage to pull an extraordinary number of people into its wake while it’s happening. So, of course, I was curious to smell it. Having smelled it, I can only ask why are some y’all so basic? Why train your taste up – and possibly stop there – on sugary vanilla bombs like this that are only 1.5 steps removed from Pink Sugar or a vanilla candle you can pick up at Aldi?

Adding to the meh-ness of it all is a sour, rubbery lactonic note that smells like curdled milk to me but may possibly smell like caramel to others. It is also offensively sweet and devoid of nuance. I can never really distinguish between stuff like this, Pink Sugar, and Billy Eilish No. 1 – milky-sweet, monotone, full of simple sugar molecules, a bit burnt or artificial-smelling at times – but Bianco Latte comes with a price tag to match its hype, so I am even less willing to go easy on it.

None of us should be spending $150 for perfume that smells like it cost 50 cents to produce. Bianco Latte is built on synthetic vanilla and lactonic notes that you buy off the shelf in bulk from the fragrance and flavour factories, and not some super expensive vanilla extract squeezed from freshly picked vanilla pods on a Madagascan plantation. It’s built cheap and it smells cheap. If Bianco Latte were turned into an actual dessert, 10 out of 10 Italians would send it right back to the kitchen. Think about that for a second. Let’s have higher standards for what we spray on our skin.

The strongest caramel scent that i have ever owned!
Bianco latte was a perfume i had heard alot about so i decided to trade for a bottle. I recieved a bottle with around 10ml left which i thought wouldnt last me long but how wrong i was... When i first sprayed it on my skin the scent exploded with overly sweet caramel and vanilla. I thought that this sweetnes would dissapear a bit later but it for sure didnt. The scent was on my skin for 16 HOURS and i smelled like someone would have dropped a whole bucket of melted caramel over me... Amazing scent but nothing i could ever wear personally. If a woman would go gentle with the sprays on this it could be a truly amazing scent that i myself would really enjoy being around!

Gazing at that one adorably floofy bunny on Cute Overload circa 2006
Bianco Latte opens incredibly sweet, like a decadent caramel macchiato with extra vanilla syrup and plush, honey-infused cream. It's so sweet it almost makes me mad, which almost makes me weepy, because I'm one of those people who cries instead of yells when they get mad. And it makes me think of super cute animals, how sometimes when we see a little fluffy furry cutie-patootie, we just burst into tears. Even though they're adorable and charming, and they make us happy! And this, in turn, makes me think of that old 2006-era website, Cute Overload, and this one particular chubby, floofy bunny, whose fur was so white and its eyes were so big and innocent, and I just died every time I saw it. I think that's the essence Bianco Latte is trying to capture - that overwhelming, almost painful sweetness that stirs up complex emotions. As the scent settles on your skin, it softens, much like how you'd calm down after that initial rush of seeing an impossibly adorable creature. As Bianco Latte dries down, the white musk emerges, creating an airy softness that mimics the imagined touch of that bunny's impossibly fluffy fur. The vanilla becomes more rounded and marshmallow-squishy, reminiscent of how you'd want to cuddle that sweet little guy. The honey notes linger, reminding you of the golden glow of nostalgia for simpler internet days when a cute animal picture could be the highlight of your afternoon. It's a scent that doesn't just evoke memories, but feelings - that mix of joy, tenderness, and inexplicable sadness that comes from encountering something almost too precious for this world.

It's here to stay
My review is only to give my two cents on the difference between Bianco Latte and Eclaire, since I own and wear both.
Eclaire is definitely a dupe, no doubt about it - but I wouldn't say they're totally identical IMO. They are CLOSE though, and perhaps someone who doesn't care that much about subtle differences won't really pick up on the differences (and really, you don't HAVE to care about it)
Bianco Latte is smoother/creamier and stays within the realm of caramel/honey throughout the entire wear, and very addictive if you enjoy that sort of thing. The longer it's on my skin, the better it gets!
Eclair's dry down after a few hours actually reminds me more of Pink Sugar's dry down. Which isn't a bad thing, just not as exciting I suppose.
For someone like me who just loves everything caramel, vanilla and generally sweet, I'm very happy owning both. I won't say that smelling Bianco Latte after smelling it's dupes is a life changing experience, but it is definitely very very delicious and here to stay.
Longevity feels to be about the same for both.

It’s okay
Coming back to this, it does smell better but still not one that is worth the price tag. Ive actually found dupes that smell better.
It isnt as waxy like it was ( still is just not as much) and doesnt smell like maple syrup as much either, now i get more of a “toasted” brown sugar scent.
It also fades a lot faster the longer i have it?? Insane. Especially for that price.

Is this a cheap vanilla candle or an expensive bottle of perfume? Find out on the next episode of Dragon Ball Z! Good performance tho!

Bland and very synthetic vanilla. Smells like a cheap scented candle.

A disappointingly simplistic, linear gourmand with screechy top notes and no depth. The hype around it puzzles me

I wish I could have loved this because I am a fan of gourmand and sweet scents, but sadly it only smelled like a vanilla candle on me.

A lovely concept, but one spray gives me a headache. I like gourmands to leave me wanting more. For me, this is too dense and too much.

sweet. cozy. toasty warm. shines in winter but I’m still craving to wear it in summer! love the beautiful, sweet, plush tonka-ness of it.

I'm not in love. Waxy, lactonic, intensely sweet, CHILDISH! Sand + Fog candle meets custard and milk. Lasts forever. 4/10

Confused by how glorious the reviews are. I unfortunately smell waxy Yankee candle.

I do not understand the hype, I've tried it several times now. It's gives me waxy fake vanilla vibes that disappear on the dry down.

Smells like a waxy maple syrup with some “toasty-ness” in the background.
