Since I've never been able to perceive Javanol, Shabby Chic feels more like an aura than a scent to me. Although it's an incredibly clean and well-groomed aura!
You might react to Javanol like I do, being anosmic to it. Shabby Chic apparently contains a lot of that substance. The best way to find out is to test the fragrance Molecule 04 by Escentric Molecules. It’s pure Javanol. I couldn’t smell it at all, it was like there was just water on the test strip.
