BOSS Level
Yes, yes! But not meant as you might think now ... ;-)
This flanker has completely different ingredients than the BOSS Bottled Oud - but still smells absolutely similar!!
Sure - the apple is completely missing here - but otherwise I would immediately guess the BOSS Bottled Oud in a blind tasting (see also my review about it).
But: I think the apple does it! I find the BOSS Bottled Oud almost a bit better ..., rounder! He is somehow denser and juicier; viscous. And in my opinion, this one also lasts longer!
The ARMANI feels somehow more watery and lighter.
Good they both are - but the BOSS wins with me!
Price-wise, they are now almost at the same level; I paid at the time for the Boss but only just under 50€! oO
I think in both perfumes is the same oud built - because that smells 1:1 the same.
Just that the BOSS is consistently a little more fruity and later even at times a little "fresher".
The ARMANI smells from time to time (again and again it comes through) after "stinky oud", which is not at all bad; it is only sometimes and then also difficult to recognize.
That you can hardly recognize the oud, as some write, is certainly not correct: the oud is clearly smellable and brings now and then some smoke with pure.
What I can not smell is the lavender; which is completely missing for me!
Conclusion:
Both are for me spicy - but initially tending in the sour direction - fragrances that later find their way via the oud in a warm sweetish direction; for me, the oud is constantly present!
Nevertheless, I would opt for the BOSS...
