Beautiful fresh summer fragrance

On me, this dries down to a musky coconut pretty quickly, with some soft, fresh floral notes in the background. This fragrance leans masculine on my skin. Somewhat similar to Creed VIW in the dry down, but VIW has a strong lime-citrus opening that dissipates fairly quickly (along with the rest of the fragrance) that Bossa does not, while Bossa has a dryer sheet cleanness to it.

The popular coconut fragrances seem to have longevity issues or batch inconsistency (VIW and Malibu Party in the Bay). Bossa projects well and stays on my skin. If you are looking for a fresh coconut-sunscreen scent, this is a winner. I also don't think it's redundant with VIW at all because of VIW's strong lime note (I happen to love VIW as well and think they are complimentary for layering as well).

The bottle is also top notch.

Beautiful summer

Bossa is like bottling up a carefree beach day in Rio de Janeiro. It opens with a zing of citrus—lemon, mandarin—then melts into creamy (not cloying) coconut and salty ocean air. A perfect warm citrus fragrance! Imagine: sun-warmed skin, salty hands clutching a piña colada garnished with lemon, a flower, and salt grains. There’s a breeze, soft and warm, and everything smells golden. It's light, breezy, and effortlessly sexy—summer in a bottle. Lovely!

Ultimate vacation fragrance

This fragrance is often compared to Eau de Soleil Blanc and definitely belongs in the "sun cream" fragrance category, but without smelling too artificial. For me, the coconut and the cashmere/musk note come out the most, which makes it very creamy. Frangipani and tiare are much less noticeable. I would also describe it more as close to the skin, sillage and longevity are not particularly strong. However, it is very wearable in summer, even at higher temperatures
