Guerlain Homme Guerlain 2009 Eau de Parfum

From my youth I can still remember a boat tour through the Spreewald. There was still the GDR, but the boat tours were carried out by private small entrepreneurs. Drinks were also sold on the barges: Beer for adults and, also bottled in beer bottles, woodruff brew for the children. This contained, what is probably forbidden nowadays, true woodruff with its divine aroma, for which coumarin is responsible, as in the tonka bean. Guerlain Homme EdP has brought it back to me.
This perfume, like its creator Thierry Wasser, does not have the best reputation among people who prefer to see something traditional, avant-garde and exclusively bulky in guerilla scents. I see it a little differently: for me, GH EdP is the scent of the house that I enjoy the most.
The refreshing mojito vibe begins with mint, rum and lime. That smells like joie de vivre. Cedar and vetiver can also be clearly perceived, as the name says it should be a man's scent. But the most beautiful is the long-lasting base note, which reminds me of woodruff. By the way, everything comes across very natural, but still modern. A perfect summer fragrance without lemon or aquatic. Extremely comfortable to wear.
