Subtle blend of lavender and vanilla
As a French woman and a fan of the history of the perfumers of the House of Guerlain, I have just read an extremely interesting French book about them: Le Roman des Guerlain. Parfumeurs de Paris. The novel of the Guerlains, perfumers in Paris...
My Guerlain EDP intense is definitely more intense than its original, which is certainly due to the patchouli. The subtle blend of lavender (which is more commonly used in men's perfumes) and vanilla (which Guerlain always succeeds with) makes it a floral, warm and very feminine fragrance. It doesn't last as long on me as I can generally read or wish it would, but its scent earned me compliments from my piano teacher, who asked me what I was wearing and immediately noted it down. That had never happened to me before. I also like the design of the bottle and the color of the juice. This will definitely not be my last bottle of Mon Guerlain!
