it would be hard to find someone who doesn't like this. distinct and interesting, but still appealing to all. timeless & always modern

As my signature fragrance for 45 years, I can say that in 2024 it certainly is "distinct" and it always has been since 1959. It's impossible for it to ever have been dated because it never smelled like anything else when it came out, and still doesn't. All the new stuff for men from the 80s forward smells to me like a happy leprechaun. I think many of the people here on this site appreciate fragrances and savor them. However, most people, 99.9% will smell your fragrance for about one and half to two seconds. Green Irish tweed is going to smell to them exactly the same as Cool Water. Guerlain Vetiver eau de toilette will not.
