For a perfume, the fragrance comes with a very slim range of fragrances: rum, vanilla and patchouli.
The rum accord, which is less alcoholic and more reminiscent of molasses, comes to the fore first. Pleasant, intense, sweet, but not too overpowering. After around 1 hour, the vanilla takes over. However, the rum still remains. Patchouli then forms a base note that also fixes the vanilla. The fragrance is therefore quite simple and linear, but in an intense and pleasant way. Fits exactly into my world of fragrance flavors.
Longevity is very good, sillage too, I think.
By the way, if you want to feel patchouli in its pure form with the typical earthy, damp leaves smell: spray Habit Rouge Parfum on a test strip and leave it for 1 week. ️
In the Habit Rouge range, the 2024 perfume is a simple, consistently sweet version. I like it. However, if you want more spice and initially citrusy notes, i.e. a little more complexity, you are better off with the Habit Rouge Eau de Parfum.
