The comparison
Hello everyone,
in the next few days there will certainly be some reviews here that deal in detail with the fragrance description. However, I would like to take up the comparison with Habit Rouge Parfum and describe it from my point of view.
I received my fragrance yesterday and of course couldn't wait. Unpacked... Sprayed... Smiled...
But then I immediately started to think. Wait a minute... you know this one. I also immediately had the Habit Rouge Parfum vibes. So I called up the fragrance here on Parfumo and looked to see if there were any statements and lo and behold, I wasn't alone. I admit that I was briefly annoyed.
But I quickly regained my composure. I like the perfume, so why should I be annoyed.
It was clear to me that I had to do the 1:1 test tomorrow. But as I'm not exactly the most patient person, I was in the shower 5 minutes later because I wanted to test it straight away.
Out of the shower and Habit Rouge Spirit on my right arm and Habit Rouge Parfum on my left arm.
I'm not going to fib... Even to my nose, the scent opening was very similar and I don't think I could tell them apart in the wild in the opening minutes. SPOILER... That's changing.
I had resigned myself to the fact that the scent was almost indistinguishable to my nose. As described above, however, a little more patience would do me good at one point or another. I then smelled the two arms again about 1 hour later and... Hey they're diverging. I'll leave you alone with fragrances. Others can do that.
After 2 hours, it was finally clear to me. I can tell them apart and I was delighted. For me personally, the Habit Rouge Spirit becomes much softer as it progresses and the powdery notes tend to prevail on my skin. The Habit Rouge Eau de Parfum is a little more edgy for me at this point and it stays that way. At this point, however, I can also smell the Habit Rouge Eau de Toilette DNA from both fragrances.
Personally, I am happy to own both fragrances, as I consider them to be fragrances in their own right.
This is my personal opinion on the new Habit Rouge Spirit.

And what a use with the quick shower! 😅
Perfumos are already (positively) crazy people.
So Guerlain continues to deliver. Now Guerlain owes us a permanently regular freshie, since the L'Homme Ideal Cologne doesn't exist and Platinum Prive was only limited. I love Guerlain Homme EdP, but I still want a cologne with a citrus base from Guerlain!
