St. John's, August 6, Fog
So here it has carried you, an enchanted place between ancient firs that breathe Hesperian cool shadows, you see how they creep over the forest floors, the withered needles under hazy bark, which like spicy lichens on mulch earth, where sharp green herb stalks grow and tart-spicy licorice snails creep and ethereal breeze blows in waves there to the warped stone chapels. A few autumn leaves rustle, inside you become silent, St. John's wears a veil of mist.

Haeckels is a small manufacture of 100% natural body care products and fragrances from Margate in England. "[We arose] to raise awareness about natural products that are every bit as effective as chemical-derived alternatives." writes Dom Bridges about his brand, in which each of his employees takes on multiple roles and all fragrances make immediate reference to a location in and around Margate, with precise GPS coordinates, harvest date and weather.
51° 22' 17 "N 1° 22' 41 "E are the details for St. John's Cemetery in Margate. Here the firs initially wear a dress of tart fresh lemons and the stone pines that line the cemetery are ethereally supported by bitter oranges and their leaves. Gradually the impression of mulchy-spicy forest floor asserts itself (rosemary, patchouly, tree moss and cedar bark), with herbaceous-sharp lavender and star anise providing a link to the fresh and cool opening. The long fade is reminiscent of autumnal damp lichens in shady, needle-like undergrowth. St. John's projects moderate to skin-deep for about seven hours.
