So much more than just cherry..

I am actually not a fan of the cherry note in perfumes. Until now, I have practically despised every cherry scent. I found Lost Cherry Eau de Parfum creepy, sour, and piercing. The same goes for Bodacious and so on..

"Wrap Me In Dreams | Haute Fragrance Company" blew me away in a positive way. The cherry is very prominent but at the same time, the scent is mature and perfumey. It doesn't just smell like cherry candies, even though the cherry is the absolute star of the show.

In the opening, the scent is already very cherry-like but in a subtle way. A light yet distinct rum note adds a certain sweetness. In the drydown, the cherry pulls back a bit, the scent becomes very powdery and takes on a beautiful tonka/woody direction, with a hint of patchouli. I also smell a very lovely powdery red rose.. A super beautiful combination that is unique for me..

Longevity is very good and sillage is a dream. It's going on my WL..

You should also try Rebel Hearts by Mecheri. It goes in a similar direction.
