sophisticated warm blanket with a great cherry opening

Opens with a yummie cherry almond booziness.
And slowy evolves into a warm amber, tobacco, vanilla and tonka cloud.
Long lasting, can't stop sniffing my arms, sophisticated fragrance.

I don't think it's as similar as lost Cherry because that opening has a more bright cherry opening )that fades fast). and Bodacious lasts a loooong time. I think it's meium projection, but that's what I like. I don't want people to smell my perfume from the other sie of the room.
I do think that if you want the bright cherry/berry to last longer then Memories by The gate would be a great option for you.

This is not a bright , sweet cherry bomb. Not juvenile.

Yup, the cherry is NOT lost in this…

This is so nutty in the opening it caught me offguard. The cherry liquor is very sweet and thick, so gourmands have got to be your thing to enjoy this one. The scent wears linear on me, with some vanillic elements more pronounced in the dry down. A few sprays are enough to fill up a room if projection/sillage is your thing. Bodacious lasts well over 8 hours on me, but I find that the sweetness gets overwhelming over time and needs something to cut through it. I'm wary of recommending this scent as the cost is prohibitive and I don't find it wearable all year round. Leans femme for Winter. 8/10

smooth, sweet cherry cognac!

Bodacious is a amazing scent from boadicea the victourious. The scent opens with a sweet cherry that later dries down into a more gourmand scent where i see notes as cognac, vanilla and something else i cant really put my nose on... The price might be a bit steep for some but i could for sure justify it for a 100ml bottle. Boadicea is great if your looking for a great luxury scent that your gonna be wearing for a while. I get around 8-10 hours of scent while wearing bodacious and thats perfect in my opinion. Great scent that i could really recommend!

One of my top favorite decadent gourmands

This gem was recommended to me by a fragrance friend who kindly sent me a sample. I had been searching for a cherry gourmand akin to Lost Cherry by Tom Ford, albeit without the exorbitant price tag and lackluster performance. There are similarities between Bodacious and Lost Cherry, however I don't find them remotely interchangeable. Lost Cherry features a much more vibrant and delicious cherry opening that fades far too fast.

On the other hand, Bodacious immediately hits your nose with its intense, boozy, and syrupy cherry amaretto aroma. Its rich nuttiness goes beyond just almonds, and veers dangerously close to peanut butter territory. Thankfully, that note tempers over time until things feel more harmonious.

This warm and delicious dry-down period is extremely long lasting. The whiffs I catch off my shirt the next day are intoxicating. Such potency and richness make this difficult to wear daily or during warm weather. For that reason, I only recommend it if you can handle strong gourmand aromas and live in a suitable climate.

A Gorgeous, Serious Cherry

Dark, warm, resinous and plummy cherry and cherry liqueur/cognac with damask rose up front. It's instantly, décolletage-level sexy!

Though it's described as an oriental vanilla, this is not a gourmand. It's a cherry-ambrée, and its musky rose heart is the most assertive of the cherry-with-rose note scents that I've sampled. Thankfully it's not a light, "laundry product" rose; it's a spicy, antique rose, perhaps more the bewitching, doubled-petalled, 19th century old red rose from your wedding bouquet that you so lovingly pressed and dried. Still smells good, doesn't it? This is that rose - this is it!

Cherry, rose and liquor mingle with clove - a 'dark red' vision, something worn with an elegant evening dress and a velvety capelet. In fact, I did wear this on New Year's Eve, reader, surrounded by happy revelers and gleaming champagne bars dispensing bubbly amidst the sparkling light and reflections of Christmas baubles, and it was an entirely appropriate wear.

This is not to say you could not wear this at other times for your own edification. I wore it today, in fact, while I was chopping out stubborn roots out of the mud with a pickaxe, and every so often I'd get a delicious whiff of resinous, boozy cherry. It was a little incongruous to smell like this while digging muddy roots, but damn I smelled great doing it.

This fragrance has very good persistence and moderate sillage. The cherry persists well into the wear, which is not the case for many others in this category. The drydown is a musky, fruity amber with undernotes of vetiver and the barest hint of sandal. I'm not getting overt vanilla or tobacco that I can pick out, and it's fine with me, as there's plenty of that and this fragrance distinguishes itself by not falling into the same bucket.
