Dear memory
Ah....Helena Rubinstein Appleblossom! My mother had this on her dressingtable, she didn't wear it often, but I remember this scent so well!
I remember when she allowed me to use it: I had just lost weight after being bullied for years at school and it would be my first day of going into town alone, all by myself to do some shopping. For the first time I felt confident and feminine. Minnie Ripertons' 'Loving You' was played in every shop and I felt the promise of growing into a young woman who soon would be ready to fall in love...

I haven't tried the current Apple Blossom by Kent yet, maybe I will try it in the near future.
