I had high hopes for Eau de Citron Noir by Hermès as I am a fan of the brand and love wearing fresh, citrusy scents. The fragrance didn't disappoint me in some ways, but there was also a slight downer.
The first thing I noticed was the refreshing citrus note in the top note. It's a vibrant, light and clean citrus note, perfect for summer. The fragrance has a certain elegance that is typical of Hermès, and the bottle design is simple and appealing.
Unfortunately, the longevity of Eau de Citron Noir is not so impressive. After a few hours, the fragrance has almost completely evaporated and I have to spray it again to be able to enjoy it again. Too bad, because I would have liked this refreshing fragrance to last longer.
The sillage is also rather subtle. The fragrance stays close to the body and doesn't draw any particular attention to itself. This can be good in certain situations, but it would have been nice if it had been a little more present.
