Once selected as a gift in a perfumery, where all sensory cells are blown away during a consultation anyway, Rhubarbe stood out in a very positive and unobtrusive way. Because it doesn't want too much, but offers a pleasant balance and accessibility. Immediately became the favorite fragrance of the recipient - supplies were currently secured here in the souk! :)
What is perceived here as "green", I perceive as a quite natural freshness or, in the case of wine, one would speak of a lively interplay of sweetness and acidity. Anyone who has ever broken through a stalk of rhubarb from the garden to smell it will be able to relate to this :)
The rather average silage/durability here suits the fragrance. Not too intrusive, not as loud as some hyped women's fragrances.
