Summer and Sea on the Skin
Once randomly purchased as an alternative for the discontinued "Smuggler's Soul," the fine freshness and herbal spiciness of mint, thyme, tarragon, and sandalwood has developed into a daily fragrance. Like a warming breeze - the Mediterranean breeze that brings a satisfied smile to your still salty lips after a day of sun and sea. I hope that Lush restocks it again.

Muscatel kisses dry cleaning
As a sample, it quickly became clear - the scent is unique! The synthetic freshness, which sounds like it couldn't be meant positively, cuts its laser-cut through the cloud of all guitar-playing Johnnys, the sage note also transforms into a - let's say - modern naturalness, which is always flanked by a rather cool soapiness. The woody notes are very elegant and well integrated.

I believe I will use the bottle again in spring - in autumn and winter, I intuitively don't reach for it often. But I like it!

Spicy Underdog
Discovered by chance in Rome - what worked very much in my favor was the limited selection of fragrances in the upscale men's outfitter - 1 out of 2. The two samples I chose were, I believe, “Lime and Sandalwood,” to explain my preferences - and I was silently handed the tester.

We were picked up by the bus in the city and had about 3-4 minutes left - due to this, the decision had to be made quickly. And, yes - it somehow caught me right away.

I caught myself thinking, “Well, but the huge bottle costs just 20,- € regularly - it can't be that great…”. But, the fragrance is clearly superior to its pricing.

Especially pleasant is how the scent presents itself on the skin after 1-2 hours, when the somewhat demanding oud component becomes a bit more subtle and refined.

In any case - an unbeatable price-performance ratio.

Lauer Summer Evening ON DEMAND
Sweetness, acidity, elegance - but without carrying the nose too high. Once chosen as a gift in a perfumery, where all your senses are overwhelmed during a consultation, the rhubarb stood out very positively yet unobtrusively. Because it doesn’t want too much, but offers a pleasant balance and accessibility. It immediately became the favorite scent of the recipient - a refill has just been secured here in the souk! :)

What is perceived here as "green" I find to be quite a natural freshness, or in wine terms, one would speak of a lively sweet-acid play. Anyone who has ever broken a stalk of rhubarb from the garden to smell it will be able to relate :)

The rather average sillage/longevity fits the fragrance. Not too intrusive, not as loud as some hyped women's fragrances.

On the skin, the "Red" radiates summer vibes that you enjoy having around in all seasons.

My recommendation for anyone looking to break free from heavy, powdery scents and wanting to take flight with Hermès’ little wings to look beyond the horizon. Give it a try!
