In love with shock

In search of a fragrance for the warmer days, I went to my trusted perfumery for advice. I'm probably a somewhat difficult candidate when it comes to "lighter fragrances" because I find it hard to get rid of my preference - something with jasmine, sandalwood, amber, coconut, ..... But today I was ready to venture into new territory. After I had expressed my preferences, the saleswoman began to introduce me to a few fragrances one by one... when her hand initially headed for a flanker of "La vie est belle", I wanted to scream in horror (I don't like the basic fragrance in the range at all) but in fact it wasn't bad at all - especially the top note - but in the end it wasn't convincing for my current project (rose overkill - but a really great fragrance if you like rose). Next, she sprayed "Narciso Rodriguez Musc Noir"
on a test strip - unfortunately it was a complete fail - I just found it pungent and unpleasant....next try - a trip to the niche corner...Tiziana Terenzi Andromeda... beautiful fragrance description but unfortunately just totally synthetic for me. The next niche fragrance, whose name I have unfortunately completely forgotten, slowly brought me to the brink of despair... just a sweet canned fruit salad. ...I was about to thank them for their (unfortunately not very good this time) advice and drown my frustration in coffee, when the Hermes bottles from the "Un Jardin..." Series caught my eye. I had already sniffed one before and it had left a positive impression on me... so I slammed on the brakes at the Hermes shelf and sniffed through the range once... and what can I say... one was actually more beautiful than the other! I felt like I was on vacation... Mediterranean, multi-layered and, above all, natural and authentic. Dreamlike! That's exactly what I was looking for. I finally got stuck on "...sur le nil" and "....a cynthere". And surprise, surprise... it turned out to be Cynthere. Now finally to the fragrance - a dreamy citric opening with a slightly woody, spicy undertone that becomes softer as it progresses but still retains its slightly tart and refreshing note. I am shockingly in love with this dreamlike Mediterranean treasure. The only drawback is actually the longevity...it radiates quite well at first, but is unfortunately no longer perceptible on me after 4 hours. No matter...quickly go to the perfume cabinet and put on a spray of Traumurlaub. I won't be giving it away again!
