No salt, by the way

I do not remember when I bought this, which is quite unusual, since I remember this about most of my perfumes. But I do remember that I was very excited to get it. The box and the name gave it an exclusive vibe. The bottle, however, is not the exotic looking one with the lovely, black “far east” pattern as the one on top of this article. That was a disappointment to me. I sometimes buy perfumes because I like the bottle so that was not the best beginning.
When reading the name, Andalucia Sensuelle, I must admit I expected a flower/fruit/spice combo. It could not be further away from the truth. This has a minty (?!) start, which I reckon must be the bitter orange that plays a trick on my nose, combined with the mandarin orange. Then the neroli takes over, and unfortunately for the scent it adds a synthetic vibe to it, almost cloying. Luckily, this has no sillage to speak of, so you have to sniff your arm intensely to smell it. Then the scent turns patchouli. Salt? No idea what they are talking about… Longevity is two to three hours which is not impressive.
To me, this is a unisex scent. But I have much better scents in my collection.
