Once again, something from me about an Initio. It’s already one of my favorites when it comes to niche brands. I also really like the Hedonist series with the white bottles, as they have a very well-groomed quality with a wonderful sensual twist. The Extrait Musk Therapy Extrait de Parfum naturally has a large fan base, not only among women. Anyone who wants to smell clean, well-groomed, and also sensually seductive should definitely try this fragrance. Most people already know it, but those who don’t should catch up, especially if they have a preference for creamy scents. It’s a fragrance I love to have in my collection, and I can’t do without this wonderful DNA. If the Extrait is too expensive (about €200/90ml on sale), there are of course some alternatives, including this hair perfume. This hair perfume is one of three (Atomic Rose & Oud For Greatness). Hair fragrances are naturally more suited for women due to hair length, but the scents are also well wearable on the skin and last much better than one might think. Since alcohol tends to damage hair, these fragrances are alcohol-free.
The MSRP for this hair fragrance in 50ml is €90. It’s reasonable, and you might even find some discount. It’s worth it since it performs quite well. The bottle is similar to the original and, as usual, a great series from this brand out of Dubai. The scent is extremely close to the Extrait, probably about 90-95%. Of course, the fragrance lacks a bit of power, but if you don’t want to project a huge sillage like with the Extrait, this scent serves you well. A wonderful creamy DNA of musk, creamy mandarin, slightly floral magnolia, and well-groomed sandalwood. A typical white scent that is thoroughly well-groomed. The clean white musk note is truly a compliment-getter and impresses with its wonderful famous creaminess. Here in the hair perfume, it’s also implemented superbly and is in no way inferior to the Extrait. Differences are more in the details; in the air, it’s extremely similar, and hardly any differences are noticeable. Performance is really successful for this type. It definitely lasts many hours (minimum 6 hours), and the sillage is quite good for everyday wear with a medium sillage. It’s always wearable and gives the wearer a wonderful clean feeling in a luxurious way.
Overall, an absolutely great alternative if you can do without the beast mode of the original. It’s definitely worth a test for everyday use.
