"Aura de J." was composed by Eduard Fléchier, the creator of "Poison", so by a top perfumer. And you can really tell that "Aura J." is the work of someone who didn’t just carelessly throw together a few molecules, but a master of his craft who has put real thought into it.
"Aura J." is a fruity, floral scent, but not a boring, conventional fruit salad - Fruityfloral! After the fresh opening with grapefruit, a charming, complex weave of mimosa and honeysuckle follows, two delicate flowers that gain a special, unique touch through sandalwood and heliotrope, as well as through musk.
Additionally, "Aura," as the color of the bottle clearly shows, is a bright, yellow, friendly scent with a creamy base. A silky, light veil surrounds you when you wear it.
Completely different, by the way, from "Silences," the bold, green classic of the brand, and also quite different from the much newer product by Thierry Mugler, which is also called "Aura" and I personally don’t like as much as the scent from Jacomo, which feels more harmonious and softer and less "chemical" than the green shimmering Mugler.
Anyone looking for an affordable, floral, really beautiful scent with a certain something should give the Aura fragrance from Deauville, which is still available in limited stock online, a chance.

I'm so disappointed, it's hardly available this year. I managed to snag two bottles at a good price. Next year, my "dream" will probably be over for my personal ideal summer scent. I've already received so many compliments on the fragrance.
I bought it blindly on eBay based on your review, privately for 4.90. I'm absolutely thrilled, as it’s not very floral on me, but has a lot of grapefruit with a lovely subtle sweetness and great radiance. This will be a frequent companion for me in the summer. You can still find it quite often on eBay, even at good buy-it-now prices.
Oh wow, I'm also purple! According to the test, I've "achieved the perfect balance between my spiritual and material existence." So, off to shop for some aura! Thanks for your amusing comment!

That sounds wonderful. It's beautifully brought to life. Fléchier also created a delicate, complex floral scent for Mallorca, if I'm not mistaken, which I really like.

Hello my dear, you've written another very informative and lovely comment. Great, even if the scent is hard to find! I've also done two Aura tests now. In the first one, I'm green, and then for the Brigitte test, I'm purple........
Fruity and floral would really be something different, and getting rid of bad vibes never hurts! My aura is blue according to brigitte.de - no idea if that's true, but it must be, since Brigitte is one of the serious ones... ;-)
The scent probably isn't for me. First of all, I'm not a woman, and secondly, I don't even know if I have an aura. However, the very interesting review leaves me with questions! Is there a test for men too, why is feminism associated with purple, and could men wear purple as well?
I also took the Aura test and I'm - red. Well. I'm not too surprised that Aura J. is no longer sold. The scent may be pleasant and nice, but nowadays there are more exciting options like grapefruit, mimosa, and sandalwood. Things like smoky oud, woods, grasses, and strawberry gum. For grapefruit, I really like the one from Hermes, Pamplemousse Rose, EdT, especially in summer.
Beautiful, worth-testing scent. You should have done the beard thing a long time ago. It suits you. ;-) I just quickly tested Aura color and greet you, graciously surrounded by a blue aura.
I need to Google where I can take this test. And woe betide me if I don't get purple too.
I don't know the brand at all. At first glance at the pyramid, I wouldn't have guessed this could be a scent for you. But since it is, I'm curious now and will add it to my wishlist.
