The bottle cheers me up! Looking like a warm, burning sun on a hot summer’s day makes me long for summer. I like the intriguing design with no stopper and the circle in the square. Really innovative!
Unfortunately, I have decided that I also need to like the fragrance to make it enter my forever collection, and there is something about Jacomo Aura that turns me off. I suppose it is the Mimosa note because it has never been my thing. It becomes somewhat cloying and overwhelming, a bit too sweet/earthy to my taste. In my other fragrances with Mimosa the note is dosed in just the right amount. But not here. My experience with Jacomo Aura is that when wearing on a hot day (as the bottle inspires me to do) I feel nauseous and unwell.
Too bad, Aura - you have to go.
