In a land before our time

One Man Show has been in my collection for some time now and I love wearing it,
when it can be powerfully fresh. But you can't compare this freshness with that of more modern fragrances. OMS is oldschool, in the best sense of the word.
By oldschool I don't mean old-fashioned, I think it even has something timeless about it, but of course it comes from a completely different fragrance era, when the understanding of men's fragrances was completely different. Of course, this also had to do with the fact that the image of men in the 70s/80s was still largely dominated by "REAL MEN", you could also say machos, I deliberately don't say dominated.
Accordingly, One Man Show: It starts fresh, tart, spicy, green, with a decent sillage and comes across as very broad-shouldered, but I don't find this appearance unpleasant. As the fragrance progresses, it becomes warmer, woodier, with a not entirely discreet animalic quality that suits it well, in my opinion.
Not necessarily a high summer candidate, but great to wear from late summer to fall You have to like it, it has its very own character, I do.
