Smoked lemons
I spent a long time looking for a suitable title, but I think this is it. Who his big viral image is is obvious as soon as you spray it on, it is of course Aventus.
Whereby I think it is more oriented towards the earlier versions, CDNI is much more untamed, more original, much smokier and spicier than today's Aventus versions, which are too adapted, too bland and smooth for my taste,
Playing everybodys darling.
Today's Aventus is the lion in the zoo, everyone thinks it's great, nice to look at and, above all, it doesn't hurt anyone.
CDNI, on the other hand, is more the lion in the wild, untouched, wild,
Just the animal.
Of course, it's all subjective, I don't want to denigrate the original Aventus, nor is it
I'm just describing what I feel.
For my part, I prefer CDNI
Especially when it comes to the strain on my wallet

In a land before our time
One Man Show has been in my collection for some time now and I love wearing it,
when it can be powerfully fresh. But you can't compare this freshness with that of more modern fragrances. OMS is oldschool, in the best sense of the word.
By oldschool I don't mean old-fashioned, I think it even has something timeless about it, but of course it comes from a completely different fragrance era, when the understanding of men's fragrances was completely different. Of course, this also had to do with the fact that the image of men in the 70s/80s was still largely dominated by "REAL MEN", you could also say machos, I deliberately don't say dominated.
Accordingly, One Man Show: It starts fresh, tart, spicy, green, with a decent sillage and comes across as very broad-shouldered, but I don't find this appearance unpleasant. As the fragrance progresses, it becomes warmer, woodier, with a not entirely discreet animalic quality that suits it well, in my opinion. Not necessarily a high summer candidate, but great to wear from late summer to fall
You have to like it, it has its very own character, I do.

The zero number
To add some variety to my fragrance cupboard for little money, I bought Brave from DM, although I didn't like the original, so that's probably where the problem lies. I then sprayed it on for several days and I realized:
Once it's there, it's already gone again. Lasts less than an hour, then only very close to the skin, after 1 1/2 hours I don't smell anything anymore:
The fragrance itself: Sticky sweet, has something of cotton candy, slightly fresh, and synthetically pungent, but all in a very, very bad way. A bad buy, cest la vie
Definitely the worst fragrance I've ever had from LA RIVE, and I've actually had good experiences with the manufacturer
So BRAVE 0 POINTS !!!
I will dispose of it again.
Thank God this shot in the arm didn't cost me the earth

Misdirected
I have followed the comments at Parfumo, I notice how badly KS is rated and how it is torn to pieces and I automatically ask myself the question:
"IS HE REALLY THAT BAD?! " Mmmmh....
Then I found a well-assorted perfumery that carries it, I tested it and I find that it is very good
that the scent in itself is actually quite okay. It's certainly not the big bang but it fits into modern, synthetic fresh-sweet scents like Invictus.
In my humble opinion, it is quite acceptable, even if I would not buy it.
L'OREAL has made only one fundamental mistake:
You gave him the wrong name. If on the Pülleken in whatever form
If it says KOUROS on it it is clear that KS is always measured against the original and can only lose.

Then go to Netto!
I did. As unbelievable as it sounds, I was at Netto for the normal weekly shopping, waited at the checkout and there NR laughed at me from the rummage table. For 4,99 Euro I thought to myself you can't do much wrong. Without any idea in which direction of smell it goes at all, bagged, lets you surprise sometimes. At home the next morning then hung up and lo and behold, he turns out to be a flawless twin of Boss Bottled which I do not own myself, but I like it very much
is known. I would even go so far as to say one of the better doubles with the typical attributes. Fresh, sweet, the apple is clearly visible, the sillage is clearly perceptible, but is still within limits, then woodier, softer, in the further course of time, altogether a very pleasant all-rounder. The "investment" was worthwhile in any case, especially when I consider that I get something for little money, which I can hardly distinguish from the original at least.
And I have to say again: CHAPEAU LA RIVE !!!
