Oh, Schuster (or Jacques) stick to your lasts.
Man, how I love the "One Man Shows" in all their variants.
Even "Bogart" and, with some reservations, "Silver Scent" evoke enthusiasm in me.
I have no idea why all of a sudden the mainstream mass market was chosen as the target.
But this definitely won't work because almost everything that characterizes Jacques Bogart is missing here.
A little freshness, a little... well, what, everything has been done before.
Hopefully "Story Red" won't be a never-ending story; it doesn't fit at all into the concept of high-quality hits that make any connoisseur's heart race faster.

Red Cloth & Red Card
Bogart and especially One Man Show are said to be true classics, with which I unfortunately have not yet come into contact. The former is, I believe, no longer available at all. But the One Man Show is tempting me for a blind buy at the current price, even though it could also turn out that I feel too young for this 80s hit and it ends up in the souk. But let's wait and see. Today, however, I tried a more modern version of the brand, Story Red. And unfortunately, the only positive thing I will remember about this red story is the connection to Bogart, One Man Show, and thus also Krizia Uomo.

As my predecessor rightly said, this seems to be an attempt to appeal to the younger buyer demographic. Unfortunately, they understandably stick to Joop, Le Male, or One Million, which I cannot blame them for. The Red Story is extremely reminiscent of the gold bars with its bubblegum-orange blossom over amber. Unfortunately, I can't even recommend it as a cheaper alternative, as it smells cheaper, more intrusive, and less fitting. And I actually like sweet scents. But here I’m throwing in the red towel, seeing red, and turning red with anger. Not worth any more words.

Bottle: could be a medipack or something similar from a video game.
Sillage: ulala... Very provocative and strong.
Longevity: after a solid 10 hours, it still wasn't completely over.

I am 100% convinced that the mentioned classics play in a different league. Unfortunately, I am equally convinced after this red copycat that the 2 classics of the brand are also the only fragrances worth testing.

Unnecessary Conformity to the Zeitgeist
I don't know when this fragrance was released, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was shortly after "Le Male".

Bogart, a brand that has consistently launched tightly woven scents like "One Man Show" or "Bogart", seems to have aimed for an entry into the mass market of popular sweet fragrances with this one.

Experiment failed. Even though this fragrance smells a bit more natural than its well-known "competitors", it is still, in my opinion, unworthy of this house. I generally don't like sweet or (as here) very sweet scents, and even though the synthetic factor is just about kept in check here, I can't handle this sugar bomb; maybe 30 minutes for testing on the skin (then please wash it off), and definitely not as a scent to wear.

It's a shame, but having two classics from one house is already something. Longevity and sillage are, as expected from Bogart, incredibly strong, which I do not see as an advantage for this fragrance.

Fruity sweet troublemaker to the max. I wear it when I know the night will be long. Somehow it gets a good reception.
