Silly little jasmine
I love jasmine, so I was really excited to try the Fath House interpretation. But this silly little jasmine is way too childish and fruity-sweet to enjoy for a grown-up. I love some sweet perfumes, that`s not the issue. My problem is the artificial candy-sweetener that ruins what could have been a beautiful jasmine bouquet.
As it evolves, there`s something oat-like, nutty, floury that comes on. I assume that must be the hazelnut, an accord which I recognize with fear and disgust from other perfumes that feature it, like Guidance Eau de Parfum. It`s just not for me. I wouldn`t consider this an office-safe scent; I`m hugely turned off by it, so I can imagine avoiding like hell a co-worker who`d spray this on generously.
