Miss Jaguar Jaguar 1993

First of all: I like these noble cars as well as the British way of life in general, as I lived there for a while in my youth. Nonetheless, I'm rather sceptical about small fragrances thrown onto the market by automobile companies, not to mention everything a 'Miss' has in his name. A stupid prejudice, I know...

But now to Miss Jaguar, who surprised me very positively. Claws the little Miss extends at most in the green top note, which reminds me strongly of Chanel No. 19. I find it very invigorating and refreshing, especially in the warm season.

Over time, the flowers come to the fore and evoke associations of a summery flower garden. Memories come back: afternoons in the beer garden of the 'Spaniard', the scent of roses in the nose and a pint of cool cider in the hand. Mmh...

In this phase of the fragrance, I would almost call MJ the twin sister of Ardens Splendor, a fragrance that I really appreciate in summer. The green, sparkling cat's eyes of Miss, however, always flash mischievously through the round of flowers, so that MJ never seems flat or arbitrary.
