Hello again
Flankers are always a bit of a thing: sometimes interesting, sometimes even better than the big sister (or big brother), but often rather 'improved-worse'. So yesterday, I skeptically tested three of them at the Centaur, and to my surprise, I found them good.
I liked 'Morning Gardens' the best. I had actually expected a cool scent with a few pale little flowers; instead, I was enveloped by a warm, sunny fragrance cloud that strikingly reminded me of Gabriela Sabatini's wonderful 'Ocean Sun'. When a garden finds its expression in the morning here, it is not the cool crispness of still dew-covered rose buds. No, it is already late morning. The sun has warmed the earth and plants, bees are buzzing in search of floral nectar, and a lazy, shimmering calm lies over the enchanted garden. I would also like to linger here in the shade of a fruit tree.
Oops, this comment shouldn't have gotten so 'poetic', lol. Conclusion: Thumbs up. This one has to move in with me.

Morning has broken
I have been a fan of Sunflowers without additives for 20 years and I occasionally test the little sisters. There could be a nice scent among them, similar to the Green Tea series, as I generally prefer not too heavy, floral-fresh fragrances. This one is again a very delicate scent that reminds me of a morning garden. A soft floral scent and the freshness of dew. The beginning is fruity and slightly bitter, and just as it fades, the floral notes come in. Honeysuckle softens the sweetness of rose and jasmine, and the delicate peony makes the scent appear harmonious. Unfortunately, this only lasts a short time, as cedarwood and musk soon join in, giving the fragrance a powdery finish. I can only describe this scent as delicate and like a whisper, without any significant depth. It lacks the presence of its big sister without additives and the elegance of Dream Petals. A nice, somewhat flat fragrance with very low longevity.

against the autumn blues
Autumn is here - and the shadows are getting longer, just like the thoughts.

On TV, there are constantly commercials for mood-lifting products - meanwhile, Adele sings wistfully on the radio: Someone like you.
To top it off, James Blunt follows with: Goodbye my Lover - the ultimate heartbreak song.
What's going on with the radio host?

But I've also caught the autumn blues - I have to sigh and think about the past, and about lost loves.
The music does not help - my friend Sharon always says in such situations, even though I enjoy listening to such songs.
But she is right!
Enough wallowing in feelings - I set out to find a bright, positive scent.
Then I come across Morning Gardens - and the first spray is like the cheerful morning sun.
By the way, there is a side street with the same name - almost a reason to move, just for the lovely address.

The scent greets me warmly and cheerfully with bergamot, grapefruit, and nectarine - very fruity, without being sour.
The rose is light and slightly citrusy, and the jasmine is white and radiant.
The sunflower shows its smiling face, accompanied by delicate honeysuckle.
The cedar gives the fragrance depth and longevity, without weighing it down.
Morning Gardens remains transparent, but also present.
It fits well in the autumn garden, where my sunflowers smile at me optimistically.
Once again, a beautiful, uncomplicated, but not insignificant Arden scent.

I leash my little dog, and we set off for the "Cheerful Morning Sun."

Berry-fresh little niece of Pleasures cuddles with clean musk in the base. Very delicate, hardly sweet, heat-friendly and harmonious. Nice!

Starts fruity-delicious with lots of nectarine, becomes floral-fresh with a warm, soft base. A cheerful, peaceful scent!

Sunflowers in my thoughts - fresh breeze
Honeysuckle - delicate & young. Rose dewy-fresh.
A truly unremarkable and peaceful scent.

Summer freshness in a bottle. Briefly enjoyable but nothing special. Fresh at first, then a flat, floral middle. Weak base.

Can't find the sunflower yet, even with an unbiased nose after winter.
