Sheherazade Jean Desprez 1983 Eau de Toilette

Upon opening the bottle, I smelled a spicy, slightly grapey aroma with a sour undertone. Spraying the perfume on my hand, I smelled warm, camphorous and slightly sweet rosewood, followed by fresh, citrusy, tea-infused bergamot and sparkling, powdery aldehydes. The heart reveals sweet, oily ylang-ylang, warm, spicy, and slightly sweet cassia, powdery, earthy iris, and sweet-spicy cloves, with tart, tea-infused jasmine adding depth. The base reveals creamy, smoky sandalwood, resinous, balsamic opopanx, resinous, sweet benzoin, and, if you listen closely, a hint of creamy vanilla.
