My mom's signature fragrance
My mom has always worn very fresh, tart, almost masculine fragrances. As a teenager, I was more inclined towards oriental scents. So it happened that we got stuck on the Scherrer fragrances when we were shopping for scents. Mom opted for Scherrer No. 1, while I went for the oriental No. 2. My mom was so taken with Scherrer that she kept buying it again and again. As a young thing, I couldn't understand the passion for this very tart, herbaceous fragrance back then. I always gave the bottle a wide berth, although I usually liked to help myself to my mother's perfume collection. At the time, I just thought it was nasty.
Many many years and endless perfumes that I own later, now at exactly the same age as my mom was back then, I appreciate Cypre fragrances and today this Scherrer No. 1 moved in with me. Now I also love this crisp green scent. Noble and refreshing in warm temperatures.
But I still love the Orientals just as much ;)

But...
