La Belle Le Parfum Jean Paul Gaultier 2021

I received a small bottle from a friend and tested it for 2 weeks. Tonka is in my top 3 fragrances alongside vanilla and tuberose. Initial spray? Oof, concentrated, sultry, very sweet. It was too much for me at first. Days later, I smell my poop and lo and behold, it still smells good. Creamy, no longer so sweet. Pleasant and attractive! As the scent feels more like something for colder days and probably something for going out, I didn't dare wear it to work at first. (I work on a therapeutic ward). At some point, I just felt like it and simply fogged myself up in the morning. And lo and behold, not only was I noticed olfactorily, I was also asked several times what I was wearing. Nice! Today I went to the Outlet Center in Roermond, where I had already used up all my perfume. Two ladies approached me and said that I smelled good. At the time, I thought La Belle Le Parfum was already quite good, as it seems to be a crowdpleaser. Simple but effective composition. I'm not a fan of pear, definitely noticeable here, but not as photorealistic as in La Belle. Definitely more mature, deeper and not freshly fruity. Bearable. The opening doesn't last that long on me, but quickly turns into a vanilla-like creaminess with white floral accents. I can't really smell jasmine. The heart note lasts for hours and later melts into tonka bean with light musky accents. This fragrance is lulling and I always have the fear that it will kill someone. Surprisingly, however, it doesn't! Both women and men like this fragrance and the projection / sillage is room-filling. You can smell me before you see me. :) Longevity, as indicated above: for days on clothes.
I tested this fragrance at around 14-17 degrees and just under 27 degrees. Surprisingly always goes down well. Even if this is not my favorite, I have to admit that the positive feedback has tempted me a bit to buy La Belle Le Parfum. Who doesn't like to hear compliments? :)
Ps: Yes, it's mega sweet and would definitely cause tooth decay as a dessert :D
