La Belle vs. Le Parfum
This is my 1st review :-)

First I had the normal La Belle and have long considered whether I really need Le Parfum. Who already has La Belle, Le Parfum will certainly love, but both are definitely similar.

The 'original' is loud and sweet and woody/oriental due to the vetiver in the drydown. Like the loud little rebellious sister.

Le Parfum on the other hand is deeper, the pear comes out almost like a dark cherry and the tonka bean makes it less sweet but softer.

Unless you're an absolute perfume junkie you certainly don't need both, but I'm very glad you do.
La Belle can always be worn(except maybe in the height of summer...and of course if you're into sweet scents!!!),
La Belle Le Parfum is more what for the autumn (but she is still not an oppressive/heavy fragrance)

So what is my favorite? If I had to choose I would prefer La Belle Le Parfum, the perfect La Belle is for me, however, the mix of both...I liiiove her to layern♡

I hope I could make someone's decision easier ;-)

Oh no, what have I done...
...again?
No Gaultier in a woman's body has appealed to me so far. Since the fragrance is described as fruity, I almost crossed it off my novelty test list.
Today the first time discovered on the shelf, sprayed on paper, already through the mask came to me a delicious sweet-intense scent. So this time not wait but directly on the skin. And oh my God, since then my nose is stuck on my wrist.
Vanilla is my love anyway, but how well do pear and tonka bean combine!? The pear absolutely manages to give it an unusual, sensual touch.
For the first time, I don't feel like I'm in a fruit salad, but instead roll my eyes theatrically in pleasure.
What have I done. Now I have to have it, even though I'm aware that it makes me stand out

The wicked lady
Like so many others, I had also considered whether I need the "le parfum" at all, if I have the normal version.

With the normal La belle I find the top note terrible. But once I have survived that, I love the fragrance.
At the normal La belle disturbs me the overripe (I think someone has called it here "box pear"), box pear one with full force olfactory in the fr... hits!

Even if you can almost no difference erschnuppern if you compare the two versions side by side (once the normal on the left wrist and le parfum on the right), but this is to be noticed as soon as you use the perfume solo.

The le parfum is somehow better balanced. Here there is also a pear, but one that gives you no uppercut, but yet comes much more discreetly therefore.
Everything seems overall a little softer and rounder. The top note is not as "bitchy" as in the normal La belle and the lady comes slightly wicked, or should I say smoky hence? No, it's not really smoky a la fireplace. There is something baslsam smoky, subtle and fine. This then mixes with a beautiful, not overripe pear and a pleasant vanilligen sweetness.
Everything is very round and coherent.

The durability and sillage compared to the normal La belle I would describe as somewhat lower. Whereas the "Ur La belle" once at Easter sprayed on yes also holds until Santa Claus comes.

The sillage is somewhat lower, which is probably also due to the fact that you do not pull an overripe pear cloud with you around, which can go to people who do not like the fragrance also olfactory quite on the chestnuts :D

The bottle is beautiful, although I still miss a lid Mr. Gaultier!

Conclusion: both fragrances have their justification. The "Ur La belle" sugary sweet, comforting vanilla as a beautiful cuddle feel-good fragrance or during the day to dream and "le parfum" as Datenightduft, for the cocktail bar or other corona-compliant activities that are found in the evening in autumn or winter ;-)

I would not like to miss either of them. Just for people who find the "Ur La belle" too penetrating, should sniff times at our wicked lady!

The Zen Stage "La Belle
I thought long and hard about which fragrance I would like to write about in my 200th review.
Then the package arrived with Jean Paul Gaultier's La Belle Le Parfum.
From the first spray, I knew this would be my fragrance for this special review.

Ommmmm.....

I slowly open my eyes. I seem to be lying down. Soft and smelling of fresh green is my base. Between them I perceive a sweetish fragrance.
Around me everything is peaceful and almost silent.
Now and then are buzzing around insects to hear, the almost silent movement of blades of grass in the wind or little animals rustling under fallen leaves looking for tidbits.
The sun shines openly on my body, warming it deep inside and making it feel and absorb the prevailing peace all around.
I am deeply relaxed.

But where am I at all?

Slowly, I turn my head to the side. I lie in the middle of a meadow. The arms lie stretched out in the grass and the fingertips stroke gently over the stalks. I can almost feel their life. My feet are bare and are lightly tickled by them.
I look up and recognize a proud pear tree, between whose branches and leaves the sun's rays flash through and come to lie on the grass and me.
Some of the fruit has already fallen from the tree and lies around the trunk and around me in the grass. A ripe, juicy aroma emanates from them and mixes with the green of the blades.
Satisfied, I close my eyes and enjoy the prevailing scents around me.
Time and space are forgotten, only the here and now exists.

But where is that?

Curious, I open my eyes again, but I find myself in a different scenery.
Although the fragrance of the pears and the meadow is still omnipresent, but the image I now see is different.

I find myself in the middle of a huge orchid plantation. Not far from me is a greenhouse, whose window sashes are wide open and a wonderful sweet vanilla scent blows to me over.
I can see a figure working with harvested plants, apparently processing their fruit pods so that they develop the characteristic aroma over time. In any case, there seem to be various processes going on, since the floating scents are not always quite the same.
Since only the aromas, but no sounds penetrate to me, it is easy for me to surrender again to the pleasure and forget everything around me.
I sink down in one of the countless created, narrow paths next to the orchid vines on the warm earth and into a twilight sleep.

Until I feel something on my face, calling me from my half-slumber.
Even before I open my eyes completely, I perceive again the grass, the pear scent and the vanilla aroma from before, this time mixed to a warm breeze. Nevertheless, it seems to snow here?
On closer inspection, however, it is not snowflakes but bright white jasmine flowers that float down on me and land on my face, my body and in the grass.
An incredibly beguiling fragrance emanates from them, which instantly unites with the pear and vanilla aroma to a unique, warm veil.
I have probably never been allowed to sniff something so delicious.

This atmosphere in which I find myself, could hardly be more beautiful.
There sink small golden bowls of the bright blue sky down and next to me in the grass.
In each of the small bowls are a few tonka beans, which intensify the prevailing veil of fragrance and make it even more radiant.

Once again, my mind clinches in complete peace and boundless contentment.
The white "jasmine snow" slowly blurs before my eyes and finally the dreamlike fragrance presses my inner snooze button.

Zen meditation thrives on the realization that you don't always have to understand everything, but that it can also be enough just to observe.

Thus, I do not question my journey into these peaceful planes or the images I have seen.

The important thing is to linger for a moment, forget everything around you and enjoy the moment with yourself and what's around you.
It does not matter whether the environment is real or fiction.
Feelings and thoughts that arise generate an inner harmony.

Jean Paul Gaultier's La Belle Le Parfum smells for me of this harmony.

It radiates for me a sensual security, a soft and cozy ambience, where the heart and soul can relax and rest even in everyday life.

A fragrance that decelerates me and gives me pause.

One that reveals to me in an almost mystical way, what there is around me to hear or feel.

It is a peace that can be heard and felt.
In this spirit:

Flattened and re-inflated - by inner monologues
The title may sound a bit flat, but alas, that was exactly the image that manifested more and more in my mind's eye as I walked this scent on a cool early spring day. "Velvet jelly", "Noble brocade dress" "Warm perfection" were expressions that accompanied me, rudimentary snippets of memory of the comments I had previously read, I suspected.

I let the vibe work, "yeah, classy and dark velvety, wow...right, a dream!" but at some point I paused, the voice in my head growing louder and finally wanting to be heard. Alright.

What do you want, "BÄÄH Cheap Bapp!" ... Excuse me? "BÄÄÄÄH Cheap Bapp!!!" Yeah, I heard you, I'm just wondering what that's about? This is the classy version of our much loved pear vanilla cake, can't you tell? The squeaky start dimmed down! exactly what might be THE perfection! "BÄÄÄ....Billig Bapp..." We're not getting anywhere like this, you need to be clearer.
"What more is there to say? This smells like La Belle, once flattened, straightened and trimmed and turned up full blast. Loud, artificial, intrusive, linear, like penetrating pan velvet, once completely burned off, overrun by plastic sweetness and rammed right in your face!"
hui, it's good. Rapping doesn't make you more believable. let me think.
"There's nothing to think about! Listen to your common sense, stop trying to like him. Listen to your head! What does it do? Right! It hurts! And what does your stomach say? That's right, it's bad, because for two hours it's been getting exactly the same message in constant intensity from the nerve receptors: "Get out, that's not healthy!"
I'm already kind of queasy.... "You're sick to your stomach!!!" But the base is coming soon... "The scent is just base! there's nothing else happening!"

What can I say, unfortunately, she should be right. She is not well behaved but always honest. Where The Original skillfully scrapes just past the "too sweet-sticky-loud statement" and so narrowly that the scent simply fascinates and evolves beautifully from colorful to dimmed, from cake to cream, this Intense variant always remains the same. The first hour stands out possibly still by a slight licorice note from the rest of the course, which for me, however, rather irritating and somehow Christmassy.
Otherwise, the fragrance really goes to my head very much and he has for me so nothing noble, deep or warm. For me, he is just loud, intrusive and one-dimensional, and I have to say that, although I really wanted to love him.
Too bad.

The durability is to be located in the upper third, especially the clothes goes downright a symbiosis with him.
i smelled him still the next morning on the skin after a spray at noon.

I prefer the original La Belle, the Le Parfum has that smoky incense scent to it and it just to much for me.

Smells like a spiced pear crumble with some vanilla-sweetened cherry compote. Sickly, strong, headache-inducing. Can't stand it for long.
