Tobacco wood nights?!

However, this is where I like to stay! This fragrance is so seductive that I had to have it because of a sample. Then good old ShaunBaker also made a bargain and bought this Spanish flagship oriental cheaply in the bay, yes, we always advise against Ebay purchases, but anyone who clones Tobacco Woods Nights would have only themselves to blame, it doesn't run like a Xerjoff or Tom Ford... although I have already fallen for a cloned Kouros Vintage, thanks to buyer protection money back :-) But that's another topic.

So we are in the Orient, or rather where tobacco is grown. The tobacco comes after the cola prelude, which first has to sort itself out. Then it starts off quite dry, it is comparable to the tobacco from Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanilla, but without any vanilla at all, but with clove and lavender? I can't smell it here at all. However, what
woody notes, labdanum, patchouli and tonka bean can do in the base is clearly demonstrated by TWN. At this point, the still dry tobacco becomes softer and creamier as it is enveloped by the aforementioned notes, transforming from dry to sweet. Towards the end, the sweet tones dominate, the tobacco gradually disappears and sweet, woody tones remain. In the base, it reminds me strongly of A*Men Pure Wood which offers sweet woody tones from start to finish.

What I basically want to say is that the fragrance has a great scent progression and you get a different impression after every 10 minutes. The sillage is not bad either, although not brute. As always, I won't say how long it lasts, but it is in the healthy mid-range.

The black glass bottle with the golden plastic decoration and the black plastic lid is quite good. For me, there's nothing wrong with it because most bottles are just made of glass and a plastic lid anyway.
