Redcurrant & Cream Jo Malone 2013

As Jo Malone fragrances go, this is a simple one. It is mostly red currant and musk. The cream is very faint in the drydown to counter the tart berry, but I am by no means disappointed. This is another refreshing favorite of mine. It was suggested to me that two good (separate) layering suggestions are with Red Roses or Nectarine Blossom and Honey to give the scent a little better longevity.

I will confess that I am partial to Christine Nagel's work, and she did a decent job with the Sugar & Spice collection.

edit: I will have to say that over a week later, most of the line was forgettable...which is disappointing since I did enjoy them when I tested them. I probably wouldn't recognize them if you gave me blind samples of the collection.
