Next summer will come for sure...

If you scour the internet for good summer fragrances, it doesn't take long to come across a white, rattan-covered bottle: John Varvatos Artisan Pure. Loved by some, rejected by some... and not without reason.

About the fragrance:
Just the opening of Artisan Pure is the decisive factor, why some people can not do anything with this fragrance: Pungent lemon, almost reminiscent of toilet stone. Too bad.
But after a few minutes, the woods come out so slowly and a pleasantly creamy, citrusy-woody drydown develops, which in hot weather its full potential. Unobtrusive, refreshing and unique. Simply brilliant and perfect for the summer.

To the durability & Sillage:
Unfortunately, the H / S of Artisan Pure leaves much to be desired. Especially the sillage is weak, only at very close contact, the scent is perceived by others. But since it is still a citrus freshie for the summer, I can certainly cope with that.

To the flacon:
The bottle of Artisan Pure is just great and unique. This white rattan literally screams summer, sun and beach and makes the bottle a beautiful addition to the shelf.
Unfortunately, however, there is also a point of criticism here, namely the atomizer. This is unfortunately anything but good. What is with other atomizers a single spray, can be with this atomizer like times two to three sprays. Very bad.

On the price-performance ratio:
The price-performance ratio is very good. The 125ml bottle you can get with a little research for just under 50€, which is absolutely fine for the quality of the fragrance.

CONCLUSION:
John Varvatos Artisan Pure is a citrus-fresh everyday fragrance for the summer, which opens with a harsh lemon, but then can convince with an all the better, wonderfully creamy drydown. Unobtrusive and unique.
The very moderate H/S can be forgiven a citrus fragrance quite.
Flacon & price-performance ratio are right.
I would buy it again. :)
