Contemporary Rubber

Luna Rossa Black is a well composed likable fragrance, and I have no doubt it will have a solid success on the market during next three to five years. In my opinion, it is nothing revolutionary – it takes the idea behind legendary Bvlgari Black and reshapes it for a contemporary audience with some Ambroxan undertones. It opens with just a touch of bergamot and immediately goes to Bvlgari-like eraser rubber. Personally, I am a big fan of these rubber accords that reminds me of school. I can sense also some lavender touch as a hommage to Gaultier’s Le Male. Beneath this main rubber accord are hidden some vanilla undertones with benzoin and Tonka as a more pronounced notes. Possibly, these two notes are responsible for this amber-like olfactory mirage plus some shady and contemporary Ambroxan touch.

From enemies to lovers

I can't believe it i used to hate this fragrance! When i first tried it made me physically recoil. I even gagged... A year later im in love. Vanilla is not my favourite note but here it's done in very unique way in my opinion. Musky, little bit aromatic, powdery and ambery vanilla done beautifully, very well blended. A very sexy take on vanilla without making it gourmand or overly sweet. The performance isn't the best but for scents like this i don't think it really matters. Lasts long enough and projects enough for my need but don't excpect more than 6 hours after that i can still detect it as a soft skin scent but obviously it wont project well after the first few hours. Sad to see it getting harder and harder to find, i hate being late to the party but it is wath it is. Seen a lot of people call it a date scent but i think this could easily be daily, very versatile in my opinion. This fragrance is another reason why Prada is the best designer house in my opinion. Sensational scent, must try while you can.

Pradas best?

I think this is the best Prada. Kind of a dark and alluring scent

Some ppl say baby powder, but im kinda getting a little bit of pencil shavings from it too

Not bad but prada in general is kinda basic and isn’t very special. But its a very safe neutral brand. It isn’t overly costly or offensive. Great safe colognes to get someone who isnt very familiar with fragrances, or as a simple date night or work scent

Unfortunately all of prada’s best stuff for men is either discontinued or incredibly hard to find

Is it my nose?

So, this scent is on my radar since about one year but I just did not had the chance to try it properly. And only with the help of two samples received from various orders, I had my chance to test it and understand what is the hype for ?

Well .. I do not want to be the party breaker but this scent and I will not be friends.

Initially I thought that I might have the Covid, because the scent was barely noticeable after 4-5 sprays on the strip and I was recording to make a First Impressions video but it was not possible to get anything than some ambery sweetness, something Grand Soir would smell like after 4,5 hours and you reapply some bergamot and patcholi scent on top.

The first recording was deleted because I did not have good things to say about it and I do not want to post negative videos, if I do not like a scent, I will not upload a review for it. But I considered that I can give it a second change and used the second sample.

Classy cool weather fragrance

This one shocked me a little, I think I was expecting a warm slightly spicy cold weather fragrance. Slightly sweet and powdery during dry down. Patchouli, amber, classy, and fresh. Solid projection and the longevity lasted easily 10 hours when sprayed on clothing (6-8 sprays)
