Here the "Sow" is "vague," but it smells great!
And to be honest, I don't know the "original" at all. Despite my large collection and testing experience, I haven't had it under my nose as an "Eau de Toilette" yet.
All I can mention is that no "animal" apps were uploaded in the "notebook." Rather purely plant-based, but definitely "wild" notes, which gives "Sauvage" a certain sense. It's not the "wild boar" at work here, but what it intends to eat more often or just sometimes: herbs!! Starting from "Artemisia" to "tarragon" to thyme and sage.
It may start with citrus fruits, which might only be a background element as it progresses. Because the herbal-green (GALBANUM!!) gets to the point quickly. Then gradually everything that the herb garden has to offer. There might be a tiny hint of jasmine... but so far in the background that it can only be sensed as a "delicate whisper."
The bitterness predominates "by a mile," also the "grassy-rooty" aspect, which gives the fragrance the depth it increasingly reveals through... what could it be?-- VETIVER!
Wild garden herbs + grass + moss + citrus/fine + hint of jasmine = "White Wood & Vetiver"...
