Licorice-Free Dose of Love
A few days ago, I finally discovered this fragrance on the shelf at DM. Unfortunately, there was once again no tester available, so I still couldn't satisfy my curiosity. The red Killer Queen had disappointed me, and now I hoped that her violet daughter wouldn’t do the same!

Today, they finally unpacked the tester, and I treated myself to a generous spray on my wrist. The intense and sticky sweetness overwhelmed me immediately, so I let the fragrance "develop" for a while and turned my attention to other lovely things in DM. In the process, I completely forgot that I had sprayed the fragrance.

Later, while fiddling with my earring on the escalator, I suddenly... what smells so much like Loverdose? The woman in front of me? Oh no, that's my own wrist! I sniffed again... indeed, the scent reminded me of Loverdose. Hadn't I sprayed Katy's new fragrance? Confused, I went back and sprayed again. And indeed, the impression remained: Loverdose, but without licorice and also a whole lot lighter.

Additionally, I took a test strip with me, but it didn’t develop quite the same - it somehow stayed fresher.

Since the fragrance notes are actually quite different, my impression does surprise me a bit; maybe someone here would like to make a comparison (on the skin) as well, because I would really like to know if the fragrance develops the same way on someone else.

Now, two hours later, however, it has nothing in common with Loverdose anymore. It has unfortunately almost completely disappeared from my wrist. With Loverdose, you still enjoy the delicious, sweet licorice for a long time.

I Want to Be a Princess Too!
I tested Killer Queen a few weeks ago and didn't find it too bad at all. Not innovative, one of many, but still wearable. There are definitely nicer fragrances in this scent direction, and actually, only the base really convinces me. If someone were to gift it to me, I would still wear it, but I wouldn't buy it myself. I'm aiming for more interesting newcomers.

I must admit, the bottle really struck a chord with me. Very cute, a lovely violet, and the little crown...simply adorable. Come on, I'll give it a try now. It will most likely only be nice and, in the worst case, terribly sweet and sticky, but whatever. One more experience. Moreover, this flanker is limited and is supposed to be a spring perfume, so bring it on.

As expected, it starts off uncomfortable, almost harsh. The berries are quite alcohol-heavy, a bit mushy and scratchy, very synthetic. It really stings the nose, but if you're prepared for it, it's not that bad. Quite sweet, squeaky fruity, but also quite zesty and youthful, optimistic and cheerful. I wouldn't say it's too much of a teenager scent.
After a short while, the same gourmand note as in Killer Queen appears. Just less powdery and heavy. "Liquid praline" describes it quite well, but a type with very little cocoa and a creamy milk filling. Gentle floral notes emphasize the girlish and carefree nature of the fragrance. They really captured the first timid rays of sunshine here, but the very delicate ones. Compared to its predecessor, the flanker has significantly less sillage and longevity, which is unfortunate. Just as I'm starting to like it, the sweet, carefree spring feeling fades away again. What remains is only a feather-light, subtly fruity, slightly nutty-chocolatey whisper, wrapped in delicate pink flowers.
It's not as boring as I thought it would be. Fresh and a bit synthetic fruity at the beginning, thankfully this impression subsides. In the heart, it's innocently floral, heart-meltingly sweet, absolutely lovable, subtly powdery. In the base, a little greenhorn gourmand. It still needs to eat a few pralines and really get to know patchouli and cashmeran, and maybe pull a few tricks to get the final polish and proper bite.

It provides a bit of warmth towards the end. But I have to get my nose quite close to the skin for that. It's a shame, if there were more volume and longevity, I wouldn't find it so bad at all. The scent for the little princess that lives in every woman, just expressed to varying degrees. Sure, I much prefer being a queen, but wouldn't that be exhausting in the long run?

When I feel like hanging up my crown, putting on a cute little crown, wearing a charming tiered skirt, and spending a fun afternoon with a good friend at the ice cream café, then I would generously spray myself with it. From head to toe, so I can be a princess too, even if just for a few hours.
