Licorice-Free Dose of Love
A few days ago, I finally discovered this fragrance on the shelf at DM. Unfortunately, there was once again no tester available, so I still couldn't satisfy my curiosity. The red Killer Queen had disappointed me, and now I hoped that her violet daughter wouldn’t do the same!
Today, they finally unpacked the tester, and I treated myself to a generous spray on my wrist. The intense and sticky sweetness overwhelmed me immediately, so I let the fragrance "develop" for a while and turned my attention to other lovely things in DM. In the process, I completely forgot that I had sprayed the fragrance.
Later, while fiddling with my earring on the escalator, I suddenly... what smells so much like Loverdose? The woman in front of me? Oh no, that's my own wrist! I sniffed again... indeed, the scent reminded me of Loverdose. Hadn't I sprayed Katy's new fragrance? Confused, I went back and sprayed again. And indeed, the impression remained: Loverdose, but without licorice and also a whole lot lighter.
Additionally, I took a test strip with me, but it didn’t develop quite the same - it somehow stayed fresher.
Since the fragrance notes are actually quite different, my impression does surprise me a bit; maybe someone here would like to make a comparison (on the skin) as well, because I would really like to know if the fragrance develops the same way on someone else.
Now, two hours later, however, it has nothing in common with Loverdose anymore. It has unfortunately almost completely disappeared from my wrist. With Loverdose, you still enjoy the delicious, sweet licorice for a long time.
