Very helpful Review
No one loves you, but I do!
Eden Juicy Apple by Kayali unfortunately doesn't get a good reception here, which I find very unfortunate, and that's why I've decided to write a little review about the fragrance :-)
What you can expect here is truly a fruit explosion. Even in the dry down, this doesn't change; the scent is and remains sugary sweet and "juicy." Mona Kattan, the founder of Kayali, herself says about the fragrance that she wanted to create a perfume that reminds her of her high school days in the USA (she now lives in Dubai). And in my opinion, she has captured those teenage vibes very well. Of course, it's not a scent that you spray on and then drive to the office thinking, "Wow, I smell so professional today." It's more of a fragrance that you wear when you meet up with friends or spend a nice evening (on the couch?) with your sister. The special thing about Kayali fragrances is that they are perfect for layering. You could layer it, for example, with "Vanilla | 28 | Kayali" or Citrus | 08 so that it doesn't come off as overly artificially sweet.
Regarding the scent itself, it can be said that from the first spray to the dry down and even after a few hours, it has a strong and easily noticeable Juicy Red Apple note, and I can also perceive the red berries quite well. I can faintly detect some floral notes in the background, but they are really hardly worth mentioning as they are overshadowed by the sweet, red apple. The longevity on the skin is okay; I could still smell it on my clothing the next day.
I am actually considering buying a bottle. My 10ml decant is slowly coming to an end ;-)
By the way: the number "01" in the name stands for the number of versions they went through until they achieved the perfect result to launch the fragrance. With "Eden Juicy Apple | 01 | Kayali," it was a hit right from the first attempt, and none of the revised versions could convince Mona and her team :-)
