Love Don't Be Shy Extreme Kilian 2021

Love, don't be shy...be EXTREME...simply extremely delicious and perfect. This scent is so damn great, this powdery, sugar-dusted rose. I wouldn't say this scent is typically floral. It's more of a sugary candied rose, minimal freshness, almost slightly citrusy, resonates faintly. For me, the most obvious comparison is with a rose modeled from sugar. Delicate and overwhelming at the same time. And like all delicious sugary things, this fragrance is extremely addictive. The longevity is great, the sillage very strong in the freshly sprayed phase, then the fragrance becomes almost skin-deep, but always slightly perceptible. I never thought I would love a rose fragrance so much, but Kilian has done it.
Compared to the OG Love Don't Be Shy Perfume, I find the Extreme version much denser and rounder, more powerful and not so sticky. In my opinion, you can wear the fragrance all year round, but for me it's perfect right now in spring.
