I can hardly decide anymore... The marshmallow paradise of all time! :)
To be honest, I can't get enough of Love don't be shy!
It's just addictive and above all, I find Love is pure sensuality in a bottle!*.*
Of course, I also knew that there is an Extreme version of this beautiful fragrance:)))
Since the original has captivated me and also seduced me, I thought that I probably wouldn't be able to get enough of the Extreme either, meaning I would (probably) wear it day and night:D
So, I got a decant of Love Extreme to compare it with the original Love.
I have also repeatedly heard that the Extreme should actually smell 1:1 like the original Love... And I disagree!
Sure, it has the same fragrance DNA as the original, but I will now describe and compare it as best as I can with the original.
The scent...
- Love Extreme: Starts with a citrusy bitter note that unfortunately lingers on my skin for far too long for my taste...
It's not bad, but bitter citrus notes that are also very cold don't really appeal to me.
- Love: Immediately starts with this heavenly marshmallow note blended with the finest and most exquisite orange blossom note.
And that's exactly what I love about Love; it's so beautiful from the first spray to the end of the scent development and above all, so perfectly rounded!
- Love Extreme: I can still clearly smell this bitter citrus note, but after 15 minutes, a cold yet very powdery rose note joins in with a very delicate marshmallow note that unfolds very slowly minute by minute and merges with the scent development. I'm slowly warming up to the scent development.
- Love: The marshmallow note still sets the tone but merges so well with a very noble, almost velvety, and warm rose note.
The rose note in the original Love is velvety and very noble! Sweet, of course, but not synthetic, rather seductive and extremely feminine, in my opinion.
But I must say, now that I'm smelling it again on my wrist, the marshmallow note is sooo fine, creamy, and sooo warm at the same time*.*
- Love Extreme: Now the hoped-for orange blossom note is slowly coming through with a delicious overdose of marshmallow cream... The bitter note is very slowly bidding farewell from my skin, which honestly pleases me!
What comes next is a very powdery and fresh rose note that brings a playful touch:)) Definitely very nice for the warm season and something different:))
- Love: For some time now, I can occasionally smell a tuberose note that, in my opinion, gives the scent development a very sensual and mature note, making it seem even more noble and feminine! :)
The marshmallow note and the velvety rose note still make me dream, and I simply enjoy every time I spray it, the entire scent development!:))
It just makes me happy and lets me shine anew every time.
Because what could be more beautiful than a fragrance that makes us happy and also gives us a good feeling?!:)) For me, such a thing is always a very valuable gift :)
- Love Extreme: Becomes warmer and more pleasant as well as more sensual through the orange blossom and marshmallow note.
The H+S is only more intense for an hour than the original.
In my opinion, both are WONDERFUL, but I prefer the original much more.
The Extreme can also be perfectly worn on warmer days due to the citrus notes that like to set the tone here;))
For me, both last all day on clothing but only 6-7 hours on the skin.
