Lalique Le Parfum Lalique 2005 Eau de Parfum

I like it for what it is. The scent is interesting and different. A vanilla that is spicy. The spices come out strongly on my skin, the sweetness of the vanilla is essential for me to round off the whole thing softly. And it's not sweet like a vanilla cookie, but more tart and mature. I like to wear it again and again. It also lasts very well in the house where it has been sprayed and when you enter the room, you are greeted by a pleasantly unobtrusive, warm, spicy fragrance that makes you wonder, lost in thought, what exactly it is that you are smelling.
I really like Guerlain and their vanilla creations, CREED sublime vanilla, or the Caribbean vanilla from St. Barth, and Lalique and Le Parfum definitely have their right to exist. A beautiful fragrance, idiosyncratic and not made for everyone, but I wouldn't want to be without it.
