When winter blues hit, take Emozione once a day…
My niece is currently into sweet fragrances. Recently, I went out to eat with her and recognized her scent “La vie est Belle.” This surprised her. “How do you know that? You don’t like sweet fragrances, do you?” “That’s true, especially that one, but I test everything and sometimes the whole bus smells like that fragrance.” It’s worth noting that I have come to enjoy sweeter scents a bit, thanks to Parfumo.
I noted about Emozione: Sweet round peach with a citrus note, fresh rose accompanied by a hint of powder, chypre that makes you want to bite your wrist, lively and friendly! Slightly nutty-spicy, it plays in the same league as S by Escada and Si by Armani.
“Emozione” releases joyful emotions in me, the name says it all. The peach smells authentic, and the peach sweetness doesn’t become sticky thanks to the citrus additions of bergamot. After a short time, the fruity note is supported by a fresh rose, accompanied by a hint of powder. The whole thing has a spicy, somewhat nutty-almond note that gives the fragrance its own character and prevents it from becoming an interchangeable floral-fruity mix for summer. To my regret, I am still waiting in vain for the wild leather note. The scent ends in a well-groomed and neat base of fine musk, with patchouli only faintly noticeable. Emozione is not a fragrance that will make history in perfumery, but it is one that lifts my mood and takes the gloom away from gray rainy days. That’s quite a lot, isn’t it? Since sweetness in fragrances usually annoys me quickly, I also know that my relationship with Emozione is more of a hot flirt than true love.
Longevity and sillage are in the medium range, best wearing time from spring to autumn, oh what, it also has a mood-lifting effect in winter. Probably not suitable for men, except for sniffing on their partner. And after I have added about 25 fragrances from my collection to the virtual collection section “Ready for leaving” (more will follow), I already feel freer, and the physical separation will follow. And now I have space again…
