Everything is coming back in fashion, including perfumes?

Sneakers or jeans, everything is hip again in Dad's or Mom's style! Dad still wore tennis shoes instead of sneakers, mom wore carrot jeans. The ones with a high waist and a tapered leg. And it's all trendy at the moment.

And what about perfume?

Why not go for the old treasures from mom or dad? Isn't it perhaps the same with perfumes as it is with fashion? That everything comes back?

Why keep reinventing the wheel? It's like finding a vintage car in a barn. They looked great back then - why not today too?
Nostalgia is the buzzword!

What was good and popular in the past can also be good today. And perhaps perfumes too.

I owned Laura as a miniature flacon in the 2000s. I loved collecting them back then. Maybe it's because of my childhood, when I loved playing with my doll's house. So I definitely have the retro gene!

Unfortunately, I lost some boxes when I moved house, and I've moved a few times in my life. Probably ended up in the bin. A few flacons were suddenly gone. But I'd rather not remember that.

I prefer to remember Laura, first of all the special shape of the bottle, as it was particularly unusual for the time.

Laura Biagiotti was naturally associated with Italy and the Italian way of life. The Italian flair that we Germans had been addicted to since the 1950s.

People drove the VW Beetle across the Alps to the vacation paradise of Italy. Today, this car is also one of those classic cars that people lust after. Perhaps soon for perfumes of the past.

Laura is a pure, fresh fragrance. It simply reminds me of freshly washed white laundry on the line in a green meadow. I don't perceive any fruity aroma myself.

How about simply browsing through my mom's stock of perfumes? Just like I did with my mother's clothes.

I can wear my old bootleg jeans again today. Maybe even the perfumes of my past. And the daughters the perfumes of their mothers.

And who knows, maybe the hipster jeans will become trendy again and the daughters will see mom's "ass antlers" flashing out again!

It's all coming back - at least in fashion.

And who knows, maybe in perfume too.
