Perennial Favorite
I have been wearing Lavanila Vanilla Coconut for almost as long as it has been released and loving it for all that time!

Vanilla Coconut is sweet-sweet-sweet and sticky-warm, like hot maple syrup on pancakes. Surprisingly, I catch no whispers of pineapple, no guava, no papaya, and I don't get much floral, but it's a delicious warm vanilla-coconut cake with a calm, quiet sandalwood base. Its general aura reminds me of Chopard Casmir. It's got a bit of "doll head" vibe, too, that powdery-peachy scent reminiscent of 80s-90s vinyl dolls. Vanilla Coconut's longevity is moderate and the sillage is as well, which strikes a good balance to me because I think I would be nose-drunk on its woody-boozy vanillic facets if it had gone the nuclear route.

Overall, I think it's comfy, pretty, enjoyable, and well worth its price. The scent is apparently attractive - I'm usually the "who even gets perfume compliments" person, but I actually do get compliments on this one, mostly from my husband and family - but I can feel overwhelmed by it if I over-apply. I originally bought it just for the beach in the summer, but it's also a cozy, warm, cuddly scent. And it reminds me a bit of the coconut cakes the bakery I worked at long ago sells during Christmastime. Funny enough, while lovely at the beach, I think it might be a perfect scent for a snowed-in day, too.

Very mediocre for the price
I received this as a gift a few years ago, it's taken me awhile to get through, it's a very simple scent. For the price???? When I looked up how much it cost??? Unreal. I'd be extremely disappointed if I spent my own money on this. I'm not meaning to be harsh, it DOES smell nice. It's just extremely simple, very straight forward just vanilla and coconut (and it's heavier on the vanilla I'd say) and I don't get any other notes in this. The longevity is OKAY. Stays longer on clothes but not impressive to me. I still layer it with other things but once it's gone I will be looking for a new coconut scent.

Tropical and delicious
I love this scent. It’s sweet, floral, fruity and well blended. It reminds me of Hawaiian tropics tanning oil without the synthetic sunscreen scent. Longevity and sillage are good.
I definitely will re wear this often. Id give it a 9.5 out of 10 rating.
Also worked well for layering with other fragrances.

Coconut Macaroon
Toasted coconut is what you get with this cheery little gourmand from LaVanila Laboratories. Warm macaroons fresh from the oven, actually. It's very foodie for me. No flowers, no sun tan oil vibe, creamy/woody rather than sugar sweet (thanks to the sandalwood) and very long lasting: for those who like this sort of scent well done then Vanilla Coconut must surely be a winner.

But given that wearing Vanilla Coconut is not really about the journey, let alone nuanced complexity, be warned: if you're not up to, or in the mood for, smelling like a coconut macaroon all day then you'll soon be scrubbing! Though I was quite taken with it at first, wearing Vanilla Coconut for a couple of days (alternated with the more delicate Indian Coconut Nectar by Pacifica) brought me to the realization that I'd rather eat coconut than wear it.

Sweet summer-to-winter toasted coconut.

The most boring coconut scent ever. Like “go girl, give us nothing!” Sweet, linear, uninspiring, and cheap. But the performance is good…?

It has what it says - a woody base. Creamy and not too sweet. Not sun oil-coconut, but somewhere between edible and soap. Summery.
