Very polite and reserved iris

The key word here is, indeed, “Miss.” It’s a lightweight, gentle, inoffensive, barely-there fragrance that can be recommended for very young girls who attend classes or for people who are very sensitive to strong, overpowering scents, but want to wear some perfume. I like the smell, but I stop feeling it as soon as it dries on my skin. You have to bathe in it to create some silage. It’s also suitable for offices. It’s very private. You will feel it, and maybe a person hugging you can catch a slight waft of it from your hair, but it won’t bother anyone sitting next to you.

I feel the iris and powdery notes the most, communicating this fragrance delicacy and cleanliness. A slight spiciness from pink pepper can be detected if you smell intentionally. Reminds me a bit of Intime by Arno Sorel – it was popular in the nineties.

My Cloud Vanilla Blossom Comfort Fragrance...

This is my first review. I am always impressed by how some reviews manage to capture the emotions that a fragrance can evoke in words. I don’t know if I will succeed, but I will give it a try. I really like Miss Dior (2021) Eau de Parfum for its uniquely floral vanilla note. Due to the very similar scent notes, I then came across Miss Cassandra and immediately ordered it for around 6€. I am already familiar with the fragrances from Jeanne Arthes, and I like the brand. The only downside is that the longevity of some fragrances leaves something to be desired. When the fragrance arrived and I tried it, I was immediately enchanted. It starts off powdery, slightly sweet, and I can clearly smell the iris. In the drydown, a beautiful, high-quality, light, cloud-fluffy floral vanilla follows. Everything is wonderfully intertwined, and the fragrance smells incredibly high-quality to my nose. It reminds me of a day in my childhood that we spent with my grandparents. I can’t remember where we were, but we took a walk among wonderful, lush flowers. I felt safe and protected and was enchanted by the landscape. That’s how Miss Cassandra smells to me. Like a beautifully landscaped garden with irises, peonies, and roses, and a sense of security. Like a warm summer day in that garden, enjoying a fine vanilla-tonka cake in the afternoon with loved ones. I feel wrapped up, feminine, well-groomed, and secure. And by the way, it is still clearly noticeable on my wrist after 8 hours. As a powdery-sweet vanilla-iris-peony fluff.

If you like cream powder...

you are exactly right here.
The opening is floral and slightly peppery sharp, then comes powder and warm soft woody notes, quietly...
Cuddly, not piercing or biting, not overwhelming but subtly creeping in.

I smelled something on a friend some time ago that had a brand name and seemed much more expensive...

This is a fragrance that you can confidently wear if you want to feel at ease, to be surrounded by a creamy, light, and well-perceptible aura without attracting attention.
Only from someone whose attention you really want....

Miss Dior's little sister

Subtle, fruity fresh with a powdery note. An unexciting everyday scent that doesn’t offend. More for the very young generation who want something different from Lattafa Eclaire, and who are more inclined towards Miss Dior, Givenchy Irresistible le Parfum, and Boss Alive. I can't comment on longevity and sillage as I gifted it further. Considering how incredibly affordable the bottle is and that you actually don’t get a piercing synthetic note, it doesn’t smell like Emily Erdbeere (Coach has released much worse atrocities). A nice gift for those starting out in the world of perfume.

Nice Accidental Discovery

Miss Cassandra unexpectedly joined my collection and pleasantly surprised me: For a very small price (6.50€ for 100ml!), I did not expect such a rounded and everyday-appropriate fragrance. It is floral with a hint of fresh spice at first, but then becomes very mild and slightly powdery. Nothing spectacular, but a very subtle, fine women's scent that can be worn wonderfully in the office, during leisure time, or for other everyday occasions. Nice and clearly feels much more expensive.
The fragrance would also fit well in the house of Dior.
