Beautiful combination...
....that lingers in the memory of the scent. It's not so easy to describe "Leonard Homme." In any case, it has, first of all: a unique character. Secondly, it is not just for men. Thirdly: the fragrance is versatile and anything but "static." Leonard Homme starts off quite citrusy and slightly spicy, with the pepper being well-balanced. Then follows a parade of wonderfully green aromatic violet leaves and a hint of their flowers. Soft and rounded. The aroma of clary sage is a bit of an acquired taste for my nose, yet it still brings me pleasure upon closer sniffing. A finely balanced scent with a sweet undertone. It is not clearly assignable to a specific gender. But the fragrance journey is not finished yet. After 5 to 6 hours, as it approaches the "base," something crucial comes into play: warm, noble wood and my beloved incense!! The two then determine the direction without truly overshadowing the other components. The whole fragrance becomes really deep and warm, and thanks to the incense, it also has a certain mysterious quality. Not directly "sacred," but a hint of that seems to hover over everything. I have now followed "Leonard Homme" in detail for the first time, although I have worn it a few times before. But all the beautiful facets have only now truly caught my attention. One must give a perfume time to be able to fully appreciate it.
