Soon went out of fashion
As well as the original version in a crushed ice bottle, there was an ‘original replica’ in a vase shaped bottle.
It was a tart fruity floral that – despite being fresh and bright with clean lines and good attack – turned into a thick fruity soup that was cloying and sticky.
A good start, poor thereafter.

timelessly beautiful fashion with a fragrant design
If you take a look at the fashion collection of the House of Léonard from Paris from the middle of the last century, you will see floral patterns again and again.
Even if seasonally and color adapted: Flowers and blossoms (in this year's fall/winter collection, for example, cactus blossoms) are simply part of it: I like that!

So why should it be any different with this brand's perfumes,
This is also shown by the still so popular and enchanting "Balahé", probably the best-known gem of this brand.

The fragrance composition called "Fashion" also lives up to its name, is amazingly timeless and easy to wear.

Fruits and flowers radiate a cheerfulness that makes "Fashion" a fragrance with no rough edges.

Fruits and flowers: we find nothing exotic or far-flung in the top and heart notes. These tell us of a ripe, wonderfully warm summer garden in which everything grows, blooms and bears fruit harmoniously together, where there is also a lively buzzing, humming and folding.
Only the orchids are somewhat out of place in this summery garden setting, but they already put us in the mood for the vanilla aromas peeking around the corner in the background.
It is 1970 and of course the "tried and tested three" patchouli, vetiver and sandalwood with their special and well-known characters are not to be missed in the base: We encounter them in their usual rich, earthy and slightly animalic form.
A vanilla-tonka bean melange sits enthroned above it in warm, subtle sensuality, which musk is happy to join and thus builds a bridge to the smoky, resinous beauty of amber and benzoin - timeless as ever! A bridge that I am happy to cross and am ultimately clothed in a garment made of a variety of ingeniously interwoven fragrance notes.
This more than fifty-year-old fragrance dress fits and I like it amazingly well.

I realize that I really like the fragrance creations of the Léonard brand.
At the time, I didn't know them, but now I enjoy every composition I've tried and feel incredibly comfortable in them.
For me, this is timeless fashion that can be worn very well and is suitable for many occasions.
And once again, I am delighted to have the opportunity to get to know so many creations from the past so vividly here in this community.
Nice to have met "Fashion".

grass-green spicy conglomerate
THIS is a great vintage fragrance that immediately spreads in my nose, because of the superficially green scent notes.
Initially quite grassy and herbaceous (probably due to the tarragon), it is not loud, however, but has a glow that not many perfumers can achieve.

One imagines oneself in a summer meadow, where herbs and grasses mostly bloom, whose spiciness can be found in both the top and base notes, in an irresistible way that does not come along very often.

It still has green tones rather than floral ones as it progresses. I find a gentle spice of woods that comes in at the end and that rounds everything off. The fragrance is really a firework of green-woody notes, I can't smell any flowers here although many are listed. Our dear Minigolf is very right when she writes that there is nothing like it.

I liked the scent immediately, it's right up my alley and I notice that I'm concentrating more on green-spicy perfumes again.

Thank you, dear Ola, for keeping "such a darling" in your never-ending vintage fragrance collection, ONLY FOR ME :-)

A beautiful, floral vintage fragrance for women
The Fashion Eau de Toilette is a classic, floral fragrance from the 70s, which I really like. The longevity is okay at around 6 to 7 hours. I find the sillage a little stronger.

The top note starts citrusy, green, fruity and slightly herbal with aromas of bergamot, peach, dried plums and tarragon. The heart note offers a blatant sea of flowers, some of which sweep me away with the current. The floral notes are partly beguiling, sweetish but also briefly disturbing and somehow narcotic. I recognize jasmine blossoms, tuberose, iris, violet, rose water, lilac, lily of the valley, ylang-ylang and garden carnations. The base has a vanilla, balsamic, woody and sweet scent of tonka beans, amber, benzoin, sandalwood and cedarwood.

Even though I like the fragrance, I will probably part with my miniature, as I simply have too many fragrances in my collection. Perhaps there will be a lover.
